Logo and Identity System

Kate Tallent Design (KTD) designed the organization logo and the identity system – including business card, letterhead, compliments card, folder and numerous inserts – for this nonprofit, which works in marginalized areas of Colombia, South America.

Founded in 1975, Escuela Nueva International came to KTD when it wanted to expand internationally. Working closely with the staff, KTD designers developed the logo and applied it to the various pieces of collateral.

Escuela Nueva focuses on migrant, internally displaced children and improves basic education through the design of dynamic infrastructures. This organization’s model of education is proving so successful that it is being adopted by other Latin American countries. Escuela Nueva schools are based on multi-age groups in which children's rights and democratic involvement are central to the curriculum.
